Always be prepared for unexpected client meetings. They can lead to new projects.
Daily Professional Diary - Sunday, October 20, 2024
Today, I wanted to enjoy this Sunday by relaxing and doing no work. However, I received a call from a new client who wanted to meet regarding the construction of his house. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, I got ready, went to my office, and attended the meeting. After that, I visited another potential client’s site.
I know I still have a building permission proposal to submit, but I’ll do it tomorrow since I haven't received an advance payment for that work, so I can postpone it. After all the meetings and site visits, I came home and started watching the anime "Batman: Year One." It turned out to be a perfectly balanced Sunday.
Professional Tips

- Prioritize tasks: If a task hasn't been paid for in advance, it can sometimes be postponed to ensure you're prioritizing paid work.
- Balance work and relaxation: Ensure you make time to relax and unwind, even if you have to handle work on your day off. It helps maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Client meetings: Always be prepared for unexpected client meetings. They can lead to new and valuable projects.
