Today was a calm day for work since all office meetings were postponed to Saturday and Sunday. I used the free time to complete some bank tasks I had pending.
In the evening, a fresh graduate in engineering called me. He wants to start his consultancy business and asked if I could help him with services like 2D plans, 3D plans, walkthroughs, and cost estimates. I told him I could help with 2D plans, bank loan estimates, and building permission submissions. Since he lives in another city far from me, I explained that meeting in person for other services wouldn’t be possible.
I also advised him to focus on advertising locally because our consultancy work mainly depends on word-of-mouth recommendations.
